Because Stanstead College looks at every student as an individual, the admission process can vary depending on the needs of the student and his or her family. However, the basic process is as follows (at right):

a statement of interest from the applicant written in English providing some insight into the applicant’s current interests as well as what he or she would like to get out of attending Stanstead College;
copy of applicant’s most recent school report as well as preceding year’s final report;
TOEFL, TOEFL Junior, IELTS or Duolingo test score for all applicants whose first language is not English (see “English Proficiency Recommendations”).
The admissions test to is administered at the school during the campus visit or online. SSAT results (where available), if recently written by the student, may be submitted in lieu of the admissions test. Contact us for more information.
Applications are received and accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year. However, it is important to note that places are limited. Priority will be given to applications submitted before the end of March.
All non-Canadian students must obtain a Certificate of Acceptance from Quebec (CAQ) and a Canadian Study Permit to study at Stanstead College in Canada. More information here.
